Credit information
Where you authorise us, we may obtain your credit report from a credit reporting body to assist in assessing your application. You may contact those bodies directly to request copies of your credit information, or to place restrictions on pre-screening or suspected fraud.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Information is stored securely in electronic and paper form and retained as required by law (generally for 7 years).
Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within a reasonable period, and if we refuse access, we will provide you with reasons as required by law.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, you can contact us directly. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
